The team formed in 2016 as the then AFC Kesgrave U8, formally becoming the Red's in 2018 when James Cornish and Marv Hall joined the coaching team to assist Jason Langley in running the team. Many players today have been with us since the very beginning with some now closing in on 200 appearances for the club, and over the years we've acquired some talented players keen to join us and develop their game.
Resilience is a key ingredient of the teams DNA, with the formative years challenging results wise, however from late 2019 the team has been on an upward trajectory, culminating in winning Division 5 and friendly cup in 2021, and stepping up into Division 3 in 2022 where they more than held their own in a highly competitive league.
Our focus is player development, and we pride ourselves upon developing a team where the effort of all outweighs the individual. Albeit we do also have excellent individual players also. In our final two seasons of youth football, we are all keen to see just how far the players and the team can push themselves.
